Ruby, is that you?

I've spent many late nights here at the Helix Digital studio, and eerie sounds are not uncommon, but this:
...this is just nuts! This photo was taken last weekend. Here's the original if anyone wants to check it out.

Maybe some animator in the past didn't meet his deadline so he hung himself and his ghost still haunts to this day.

Just keep shouting "the director gave you an extra week to finish" and the ghost will be appeased. But also bring along a crucifix and some garlic just to be safe.

I dunno... I don't really believe in these things, but this place is pretty creepy late at night. The people here have stories. One woman was working here alone, late at night, and saw a fat grey cat walk in front of her desk. When she got up to look, nothing was there. She then walked out into the main part of the studio and out of the corner of her eye saw an old woman sitting by the window, but when she looked over, no one was there. The next day, our production manager came in and sat down in her chair and immediately said "who was sitting in my chair!" cause the settings were different... and THAT was the chair the old woman was sitting in the night before. And that's the same window and chair that are in the photo. Crazy.

i just showed amy the pic because i had told her about the creeps i kept feeling and that story about the "who was sitting in my chair?" and stuff, and she couldn't see the face, so i busted the brightness on my monitor all the way up, and ... wow.

Our admin girl had the idea of looking up the history of the building, and she found out it was originally the Victoria Hotel owned by LW MacDonald from 1908 to 1948 or so. After that it was a variety of stores, including a shoe store owned by a woman named Ruby. I bet something happened here while it was a hotel.

If there's a room 237 in that building, don't go in it. But if you do, run for the hedge maze. <8O
